The leave allowed by ICAI is 1/7th of the total articleship period served, excluding any leave already taken. Hence there is no fixed number for this entitlement but depends on the period of articleship served and leave taken already. There is also a recent notification where in the number of working hours for an articled clerk is limited, and the articled clerk is entitled to compensatory leaves for the number of hours worked over and above the limit.
