can one file return for Ay 2011-12 in offline from anywhere,or one has to jurisdictional AO for filing it?
Detail situation:- An assessee forget to file itr 1 for 2011-12 (AY). Now he want to file it.He can do so in offline mode only. If he can file offline return from anywhere(currently placed in Bangalore in an IT compny)? If yes, Then what is the procedure? or he have to go to jurisdictional AO (delhi's Pan card) for filing ITR 1 offline??????

I think there is no option presently available to file ITR offline with income tax office other than assesse's jurisdictional office.
Yes , such excess of FORM 16 investment can be claimed in ITR 1 and documents substantiating the same should be duly kept handy..
