While using IT department utility for ITR-3, I am facing the following problem while filling Schedule AL (applicable for income above 50 lakhs):
When I select "Yes" or "No" to the first question "Do your own any immovable asset", it accepts the same, and also allows me to fill up details of the asset if I choose "Yes". But once I save the file and re-open it next time, none of these inputs are displayed in the Schedule, and it again forces me to enter the details again, otherwise it gives an error "Please select from drop down box" if I try to save the file again.
This problem is only there for immovable property - movable property details get saved correctly.
Please share any solution/knowledge, as the XML cannot be uploaded unless this problem is corrected. It appears to be a programming error, as in the XML for previous year, one extra line of code was there (immovable flag = Y/N) which is missing now.
