I have submitted by ITR-V form and in the ITR-V receipt status i have got a message stating "ITRV recieved after due date".
Could anyone please give me some ideas how to proceed further?

For, this you just have to review your ITR, whether you have choosed type of return as 139(1) or 139(4). If you have filed by choosing 139(4), then its obvious that you will get message of belated return. But if you have filed with 139(1) then you might have send the acknowledgement to the bengaluru after 120 days.
