i've filed itr V for the financial year 2009-10 (A.Y. 2010-11) on/before due date online but had forgotten to sent the acknl. to bangalor.
a month before i had sent the same but it has been rejected due to late filling.
now what to do please guide me.
can i sent belated return or revised return?
Returns filed before due date can be revised.. I suggest that you enter the same details but quote that it is a revised return and file. Then send the revised return acknowledgement immediately.

you can revise the return... after revising send original as well as revised acknowledgement to banglore.

My friend filed a ITR - I for 2012-13 on 14/8/2013 (out side due date). Failed to sent the ITR-V. Latter on 30/08/2013 filed the revised return. Sent the ITR-V. Now the status is showing that for 14/08/2013 it is return uploded and for 30/08/2013 ITR-V rejected for signature missing. He has already filed the return for 2013-14 in due time and sent the ITR-V . The status is ITR-V Received. Now what is to be done. Please guide.
Since the original return was filed after due date, you should not file the revised return.But your friend filed the revised return.
As you mentioned that the ITR-V was rejected due to signature missing. You inform to your friend to put a signature and send it again to bangalore by post or speed post.
