How many days it takes for ITR to finish processing. I have filed on 27th of March for AY13-14 (FY ending on 31st March 2013)
But, it still shows ITR V5 recieved.
Also, I am filing for first time and it already has selected a ITO based on my city.
How can this be possible?
If all the tax paid data is matching with 26AS at the time of filing ITR, then the normal time for processing is abt 3-4 months, sometime even earlier. If there are some missing entries in 26AS then CPC waits for some time to complete processing.
ITO Jurisdiction is based on your city address only.

Maximum time for processing is 2 year but generally it is processed in 2-3 months.
