How can we verify whether the income stated in the acknowledgement is actually the income mentioned in the original ITR filed? Mean to say how to check whether income mentioned in the acknowledgement is genuine or fabricated.. Thanks..

You may ask for financial reports i.e balance sheet and profit and loss account.
Xml file may also be checked if it is made available to you
