Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how a retired army man can file his Income Tax Return (ITR) when he doesn't receive a Form 16. Even without Form 16, it's possible to file by using details from Form 26AS and his bank passbook statement. These documents will provide the necessary information on gross salary and TDS deducted, enabling the ITR filing process.

You can still file since you have the amounts of gross salary which is Amount received in bank + TDS deducted on salary as per form 26AS.
Salary bank pass book statement and 26as statement you can file your father ITR
