ITR for FY 19-20

It is possible to file your Income Tax Return (ITR) for FY 19-20, even after the deadline, by applying for a condonation of delay under section 119(2)(b). This requires approval from the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (CIT). While legally the return can only be filed after approval, some individuals have reportedly managed to file even without prior explicit permission.
