Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies which Income Tax Return (ITR) form a trustee of a charitable society should use. If the trustee has only made a nominal contribution and received no income from the trust, ITR-5 is generally the appropriate form. However, if the trustee receives a salary, ITR-1 may be suitable.

Itr 5
Trustee receiving only nominal contribution, it is a salary you can file ITR-1
