For one of my friend, linkage of Adhaar and PAN is not happening, as there is Date of Birth and name mismatch. Now change in Adhaar seems to be taking time (90 days written on their website). My query is:
1. Can we file ITR without linking PAN and Adhaar.
2. Or else Can ITR be filed manually (income above 5 lacs).
Whats the way-out as due date for return for 2018-19 is Mar20.
You can file ITR without linking adhar with pan, write adhar number in ITR
ITR filing without linking of PAN with Adhaar is possible but you should link it soon after filing for correction in your adhaar and as soon as your adhaar is corrected by UIDAI you should link it with your PAN. The last date to link adhaar with PAN is now 31st March, 2020.
