ITR-5: It is to be used by a partnership firm, Assocation of Persons (AOP), Body of Individuals (BOI), Artificial Judicial Person (AJP), Co-operative Society or local authority.
ITR-7: It is to be used by Trusts and Non-Profit Organizations.
If you are taking about a Co-operative Society it is ITR 5,
or a charitable society exempted u/s 11 it is ITR 7

Even Truts claiming exemption u.s 10 can use ITR 7, AOP's form 5

Is your Trust registered under section 12AA & 80G of the Income tax act 1961 ?.

Yes, Its registered u/s 12AA & 80G.
There is no provision of claiming loss under ITR-7.. so need clarity for claiming loss.
