While filing itr 18-19 sec 148 notice. When uploading X M L file, error showing that ' content is not allowed in prolog'.. howto correct this error

Same issue with many people. Raise grievance. if last date to file is approaching fast. mail your itr digitally signed to your range A.O and the screenshot of this error.

Are filing online or offline ?

Go to e proceedings , click on submit response.You may get option to upload XML . Upload and submit.

The error may not occur from this route
