Itr 4 excel utility

not avalable use java utility

currently it is not available. excel utility for itr-2 has been made available, so i guess it will also be available for itr-4 soon.

Are you sure that ITR 4 excel utility will be released? Or will we be forced to use Java version?

i cant say with surity...... wait till it releases.......

Currently excel utility is available for ITR-1, 2, 4S only others are available as Java Utility. You have to wait for it to realese.

Why they have done away with excel utility? It was so convenient.

In Java utility, when I click on open file, it asks save?!

the draft file saving is in draft form which can't be read or downloaded back.

Once I click "New" already filled up data of assessee disappears!

I have referred to in another post when using Windows 8 /IE 10/Java latest.

Tell me why do they do what they do?

 

@ anil... i found the java utility much more easier than excel utility and the best part of utility is that it directly uploads return, i dont need to login on website and thus no need to update contact.... :) ..... the draft file can be opened easily.. first save your existing work on utility and then click open, it will ask to save itr, this time click dont save, and then box will open from where you can open the saved draft file.

Thanks, But.....

1) When I click both New and Open button it asks "Do you want to save ITR Form?"

2) If I click save draft it saves only in draft form. "save your existing work on utility" what do you mean?

3) On My W8/IE10/J7 latest platform, if I use cursor or drag down, utility freezes or one by one the buttons are inked blue and in short time entire page is unreadable.

Don't know why.

@ anil... no idea for the color problem, try downloading utility again..... even i preferred excel utility earlier but this direct upload option on java utility has won my heart. it relieves me updating contact of all my clients..... you can also check computation in "part-b" tab...
