1. Update Java of your system.
2. Download latest utility of ITR 3 from the e-filing site.
3. File the ITR after Validation; may be directly from the utility's filing option........

The X M L schema is invalid. Please upload the X M L in the correct schema at line no 1745: the value’ (select)’ of element ‘ITRFORM: SourceDescripttion’ is not valid.
In the ITR excel form.Kindly help in rectifying

Either report the problem to helpdesk........... or better try JAVA Utility...
