I have recently downloaded Income Tax Java utility for ITR 2 for AY 2018-19. After filling everything, I have successfully generated X M L file. NOw, when I click on preview button, a notepad file is being opened. I had done this for last year as well when entire ITR was shown in browser but not this time. However, a pop-up message shows that preview will be shown in browser but not shown. I tried in Google Crome, Mozilla and IE 11 but no result. Please help.
What is your default browser setting? In that browser there must be pop-up blocker, which may require setting. or change default brower and try again.
Try with different setup/ computer. because we are not facing any such problem with Java utility version1.
Or call helpline for any help.

Thanks for your suggestion. There was no problem of pop-up but of default setting of programme to open such type of file. Its working now.
