I've downloaded the latest excel utility 3.1 from the website (23rd August) and prepared ITR 2. I generated the XML and tried to do online filing. I'm getting a message that 'Invalid XML - Please use latest utility' at the time of submission.
What might be the reason for this ? How can i fix this ?

Hope you saved the filed from the latest utility, and the same was tried for uploading.
If Java Utility used, submit it directly from the utility itself. (after validation, click on 'SUBMIT")
If problem persists, report it to helpdesk...
