ITR 1or ITR 2
I am govt employee .. i am salary person. i got salary arrior during FY 2017-18 .. for relief section 89 with form 10E.. WHAT type of ITR will fill by me.. ITR 1 or ITR 2 ?

If you are claiming relief u/s 89 you cannot file ITR-1. Please go forward with ITR-2
You can claim relisf u/s 89 in ITR 1 itself. If you have only salary income you can file ITR 1 and claim u/s 89. Before that file form 10E

You can claim while filing IT return. But make sure you have filed form 10E before filing ITR. Form 10E should be filed only through online mode.
dear sir.. section 89 details not mention in my form 16.. this type issue may be any problem?
It is not a big problem. But if problem arises you can disagree and should submit the proof.

Please refer Rule 12. It clearly mentions that ITR 1 cannot be filed if you are claiming ant relief of taxes. Hence ITR 2 has to be filed

Although the return may be uploaded and filed and processed it might not be valid as per provisions of the law
Relief u/s 89 is available under Income Details tab, Part D Computation of taxable income D6 in the online portal.

IT portal is allowing to file ITR 1 and claim relief u/s 89.
In case it is possible with ITR -1 Please proceed with the same. Do remember to file Form 10E
