Dear sir, an employee is getting 9-10 lacs annual salary and filing ITR 1 every year. but in this year due to VRS with retirement benefits he got lumpsum 60 lacs. now he have to file ITR 1 as usual or have to file ITR 2 as he cross 50 lacs with retirement benefits.
Is the case will be same or different for government employee as well as private employee.
