An individual filled ITR-2 for asst.year 2015-16 as there was other source of income, Now he has got a job and his incme is only Salary, I want ot know that.. As he filed ITR-2 in A.Y.2015-16, Can he file ITR-1 in A.Y. 2016-17, Is there any problem as I have filed ITR-2 in 2015-16 and ITR-1 in 2016-17...

No problem. No connections as such.
No there is no problem in filing a different ITR for different years. Since different income may arise under different heads of income for different years.
