Quick Summary
If you've issued a credit note as a supplier, you can reduce your output tax liability by adjusting the original invoice amount and tax in your GSTR-3B. You must also report the credit note separately in the Credit Note/Debit Note section of your GSTR-1. If you've received a credit note for services procured, this reduces your eligible Input Tax Credit (ITC), so you'll need to decrease the ITC claimed on the original invoice.

Assuming you r the supplier, in 3B reduce the amount n tax of original invoice....
in gstr-1 there is a separate tab for that.

You will reduce your output liability while filing GSTR 3B instead of claiming as ITC.

Reduce your Sale amount & GST output amount with that of Credit Note.

While filing Form GSTR 1 mention the Credit Note in Credit Note/Debit Note section.

Credit note received in relation to service procured basically reduce your ITC, hence you have to reduce you ITC availed on the original invoice.
