Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how businesses can claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) on airline tickets booked through agents for official purposes. It explains that while the agent may not charge GST on the ticket cost itself (acting as a pure agent), they can charge GST on their commission. To claim ITC, ensure your company's GST number was provided at booking and request a proper GST invoice that details the GST amount.

If you are provided your company GST at the time of booking air ticket then ITC available on your gstr2a
Kindly ask for GST invoice .
As per Section 33 the amount GST need to be mentioned on bill.

Note : If you are buying TKTS. from agent then he won't be charge any GST on bill for the cost of TKTS. (As cover under pure Agent)
He can charge GST only on commission being charged.
