IT RETURN FOR AY 17-18
my client has not filed IT Return for AY 17-18. is there any chance to file the same now. shall the dept allow the same. there are many assessees .

No as 31st March, 2018 was last date for the same.
If it's a refund case and there is a genuine reason for non filing of ITR, Write an application to CIT, they may approve you to file your past year returns u/s 119(2)(b)
