It refund payment and outstanding tax demand

Hi!

I have an outstanding demand for AY 13-14. I've responded to it and rectification is yet to be filed.

Now, there is a refund to be paid for AY 14-15. I've not received it all these days since a demand for the previous year is open. But now I've received it. Does it mean that the demand for AY 13 has been rectified? Please clarify.
