IT refund for AY 2018-19

With regard to AY 2018-19 refund was rejected because of incorrect A/c No. However no communication was issued regarding it and was unable to raise a refund reissue request. When I called CPC, they asked me to reprocess it so that a refund rejection is issued to me. A week later the rejection notice was issued. But now reissue request is being rejected saying that reprossessing is pending. It is almost three months now. Refund amount is also big. Kindly help

First check your account status, name of assessee should be as per pan, aadhar linked, pre-validated etc.

Then go for reissue of refund again, with correct bank account.

In case it be not possible, file rectification request.

In my case also almost, same situation occurs. I am also trying to solve the issue with department since last more than 2.5 months but ultimately  no result came out.

The return was processed on 28th feb 2019 for a.y. 2018-19 and refund was created. After that i wait for one month and also checking the refund status online, but showing the same situation no any progress in it. I also call CPC many times but they reply same answer u will receive the refund shortly.

Then i request the grievance on A.O. , they said please contact the CPC .

Afterwards i generated the grievance request against CPC , they said every thing is OK u will receive the refund amount.

But at the same i was trying to contact the CPC on every day, one day they give answer  that your bank account  is not link with the pan and so your refund is rejected. 

so i visit to BANK OF INDIA  and check the details , there also everything is was OK. Then i call to CPC  they said pls request for refund re-issue request. Meanwhile at the same time i started the process for pre validation of bank account on efilling website, but still today my request is pending no any answer came from department regarding the pre- validation successful or not.

AT Present the status for my refund is that i have generate the request for refund reissue.

so i am also thinking what to do now, my refund amount is also big.

According to me i request you  to please generate the  request for grievance against the cpc describing the all details.

They will revert the answer. Afterwards u take next steps.

To get an early and quick response, file a grievance complain at CPGRAMS portal. It is directly governed by PMO Office and the CPC shall instantly act on the same. Mention your complete grievance at length for a quick and accurate solution.

@ CA RUSHABH now the issue is from 1st April Refund will be given only if bank account is pre-validated with CPC. Pre-validation is getting failed for no reason. Only after prevalidatiom, refund status would be known

@ padmanathan , in my case also i try two different  account for pre- validations  but no answer came from department since 1.5 months passed . It is showing under process only.

 

now what to do???

@ RUSHABH it seems only few banks are integrated.... even integrated banks are not linking... The e-help desk people are asking to wait. I dont know what to do
