It refund - adjusted against pending demand

Dear Experts,

Due to a wrong entry in official records, I had a demand notice for AY 2008. I filed for a rectification. But still, a calculated refund for AY 2012 was made NIL with "Adjusted against pending demand"!

A few days before, it was diagnosed by the Tax Inspector. The entry of STCG for stocks was wrongly put as STCG for Real Estate. So more tax! The Tax Inspector corrected the error. So there is no calcuated demand for AY 2008.

But how about the refund for AY 2012? Will there be automatic refund or we need to contact the CPC/helpline for acton?
