One of my friend got a notice/info in his Tax Payer Information Summary stating Purchase of Time Deposit - amount ₹29.28lakhs, he maintains the Bank A/c by himself under his Mom's name.
Issue is, he has never did such deposit but he got info in the summary which he feel incorrect/mistake.
Can anyone please guide me? TIA

Login to the IT portal and visit the compliance portal therefrom.
Mark the information as incorrect at compliance portal.
Give negative feedback from compliance Portal--> AIS
