The OTP option introduced by ITD for resetting the password is not available for all PANs. In certain cases, it works but in case of others, the OTP Option itself is not available in the drop down menu. Please help for a solution

We have three option for resetting online password do u have previous year itr copy and bank details ?
i havent tried the option yet, but the logical reason that i find is that otp option may not be available for those PANs whose contact details have not been verified yet.
All the three available options cannot be exercised since the mob No, Email and the Bank account number were wrong in the previous return. Also the secret question is not known

Then what is the solution to reset password in the absence of DS, secret question, and Ackowledgement/Bank account no.?
Yes its true that otp option is not available for all PANs for some strange reason known only to CPC or efiling people. In the absence of security question answer, otp, bank a/c and e-filing acknowledgment number, password reset is not possible.
