Issue regarding capital gainns

Hi

I have bought a underconstruction residential flat in 2012. It is ready for possession but due to some problem I cannot get the registry done. I wanted to know if there is any equivalence of the registry (like completion or possession letter ) which will show that it is into long term capital gains?

date of registration is not mandatory for capital gains..... date of completion in case of construction of house and date of possession in case purchase is also taken into consideration for calculation of ltcg.

Not to worry if you are getting the possession in time. Date of possession is important.

to consider the transfer, the transfer date is date of possession given to customer. Here not question of date of registration. so dont worry about registration to consider the capital gain.
