Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the practice of issuing a sales invoice, rather than a debit note, to a supplier when returning purchased goods. While technically possible, concerns were raised about potential misrepresentation of turnover for income tax purposes. The consensus leans towards using a debit note for accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.

Yes, Party can issue sales invoice (instead of debit note) to the same party from whom it has purchased those goods.
