Issue of duplicate share certicate is governed by Rule 4(3) of companies rule 1960(issue of share certicate) this exempted by the provisions of 113 of campanies act.
Days are not specified in these rules.
duplicate share certificate will be issued only after i) prior consent of board,ii)payment of nominal fee,provision of indeminity and payment of expenses incurres
Dear Neha,
Agree with Md. Mosharrat ali Raja, however, in case of public listed company the company must issue duplicate share certificates within 30 days of receiving the proper request therefor as per the Listing Agreement.
