sir i have received mining work in nagpur, maharastra.
i have require oil, diesel, griss, tyre and dumper / tipper sparepart in nagpur for use (not sale).
first case purchase from nagpur and dilivery in nagpur.
second case purchase from kolkatta and diliveru at nagpur
can i purchase above material against c form.
can i issue c form for above material from gujarat.

For the purpose of mining you can procure the goods mentioned by you against 'C' form.Deisel and oil,being petroleum products are sold to local dealers by the large oil companies(of Kolkatta by charging VAT).If you buy from them by paying CST it will be costlier. So it is better to buy them from Nagpur dealers only. Spare parts of tipper and dumpers can be purchased from Kolkatta against 'C' form. You can issue the 'C' forms of Gujrat registration,but the bill should be addressed to the Gujrat registration.If you take up VAT registration at Nagpur seperately,bills to be raised to that address and 'C' forms can be issued from there itself.If you are doing a labour work only in somebody's mine then there is need for a VAT registration.....MJK
