Hello.

Here is the summary for chapter no 1 where we have to pay more focus.

1) do all defivation partvery well i.e modularity, system, information system, erp, mis , like wise

2) the go for usge of system, information system, mis, erp, eis etc

3) then go for advantage, & disadvantage for all the concepts i.e for mis, erp, eis, oas like wise.

4) more particulary please focus on what are the featurs & advantgaes they both are different so focus it & the  study

5) make short notes or short forms that will be easily rem.during the exam time like EIS (Effective, information, System)

6) Dont do the question which are asked in last two attemps so atleast our some burden is reduce.

7) 1st chapter cover atleast 15 to 20 marks so do well when you study.

thanks.

hope i am able to join you on discussion.

bhavik, thanks for the support and reply. I feel very lazy when i study the topics TPS, DSS, EIS, etc. i feel it as second part for the 1st chapter where we have concentrate more.

Yar how u r dng ISCa..?
Isca is very boring..after reading 2-3 pages I felt very sleepy..how u guys are studying isca..how many hours in a day r u devoting for isca

I am reading ISCA daily 5 hrs bcz my ISCA and IDT is pending so anyhow i have to read that subject...

HELLOO...
M AGREE WITH U ALL. BUT I THINK IF U DO THE ISCA BY MAKING YOUR OWN NOTES OR LEARN ISCA BY WRITING ALL THE POINTS. THAT WILL SURELY HELP YOU GUYS.

Daily read only 1 hr on morning..it will help you... Intersting u ll find the difference after 10 days...
Hi evryone, i m left wid my secnd grp, whether i shld study isca on daily basis for 1-2 hr or shld i gv seperate tym for tht also, as i m gvng to the other 3 subjects!
First option is better... And for exams my view is u increase Ur strength in which subject u r good.ISCA need a little plan like reading and taking points on writting .All the best...
Thnx binod fr ur advice!

Hi

Let me share you my experience with ISCA.

I borrowed Dinesh Madan Notes from one of my friend and read those notes after with each chapter from Module also. Then wrote the one register by copying from notes while learning at the same time.

And secured exemption.

It helped me a lot as during exam, I was able to recollect the points as written by myself one month before exam.

Hope the tactics help you also.

And most important thing right now I am working in IT Industry as Oracle Finance Consultant.

So basically whatever read in ISCA , exactly doing the same.

Note- I was also frustrated for the subject utility for the CA's and having no interest at all.

Thanks & Regards

Karan Karnani

Isca is the subject where all the student feel nervous. I advice to all frnds that pls give more focus on practice manual as it better. So u all of feel isca like a normal subject as like every subkect. If u feel it danger than u cant read it an easy way ... best of luck
Hello everyone! I read out your views in this blog but sorry to say but m quite agree with your Opinion listen all first thing you should do is change your attitude toward isca.I wanna share ma experience with you u know wat when I started isca m also felt hastic but after that I have a good command in the same. You should divide the 1st chapter in four parts In first part there is basic of system like open ended n closed ended .character of system n business system etc In second part there is operation system which is biforcate into 2 parts tps n mis In third part there is management system In which u read eis/DSS/expert system N last one is office operation which is nothing just your basic office admin task.
Try this system.. i study daily 2-3hr per subject. and trying to reach 6sub per day.. if u feel sleepy change sub but dont left time.. at last u will get your link of study for any sub u need.. gud luck.
