Is UPI transaction in saving account allowed ?

A/c entries 629 views 2 replies

I am sole proprietor of a GST registered firm .Having own saving & business current bank a/c .

Some of my customers pay me directly via UPI into my own saving account instead of business current a/c.

My business current bank a/c doesn't have UPI id .

I have asked them many times to just transfer it to my current a/c but they don't .

Is this business transaction in saving bank a/c allowed and legal ?

If not ,how this should be adjusted ?

Since you are proprietor, while filing your return u need to declare both income earned in your savings as well as current account. all income earned in any form and in any account if disclosed in ITR under proper head, will not have any problem.
Same is allowed and legal, but you need to disclosed such transactions in your ITR
