Yes, the income tax audit filing date for the financial year 2024-25 (assessment year 2025-26) has been extended this year. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) announced that the due date for submitting tax audit reports has been pushed from September 30, 2025 to October 31, 2025 for the relevant categories of taxpayers.
