yes it is applicable and the service name where it is taxable is erection,commissioning and installation ,do read IHP limited case law on tht service for detailed explanation
@ Sripal Jain, Sir I had been to the service tax department yesterday to ask about the same doubt to our public relations oficer, his asnwer was "it would be taxable under event management and not under works contract"
@ Mr. Sharma, sir am not sure if this would be called as "hoticultural activity" as this is not a gardening activity
i think it cnnot come under the head event managemnt ...anywyas u have to pay tax what if its in other cateogries coz anyways u cnnot enjoy any exemption in either of the categories
