Respected Members,

Is rent agreement mandatory when forming a Pvt Ltd company ?

So I am about to incorporate a pvt ltd company and I have no property in my name.

Also can a rent agreement(residence purpose) of a director be used for the same ?

Thanks

Dear Ashish Kumar,

At least office premises is must for the Pvt. Ltd. Co. and if you have no any immovable property in your name then Rent Agreement shall suffice and work of office can also be made from the residence of the director.

I don't have any property in my name.

I am thinking about using my home adress as registered address. But the property is in my father's name. It's residential house with individual utilities services. So, what should be done ? Should I make a rent agreement with my father ? If it's mandatory, then what about the electricity connection ? Should we apply for new electric line for commercial purpose. ?
