A virus is a computer program or scripttt created with the intention of doing harm to system. A properly engineered virus can have a devastating effect.
All .EXE Files does not mean a Virus. The best way to secure your system from Viruses is to install a Good Antivirus software like Kaspersky Internet Security, Quickheal etc.. and update it regularly.
