Is property tax exempted for self occupied home?

Dear friends, I am aware that interest on home loan for the self occupied house is exempted upto 1.5l. I saw that for a rented house - property tax can be claimed as expense. Is property tax exempted for self-occupied house also?

See Shushil, for SOP Calculation start fron NAV and NAV amount is always Zero.
