Is old articles ID Card valid for May 2010 exams

Hi,

I have not received the hall ticket till yesterday, though I have dowloaded it from the net. In the dowloaded hall ticket, it says the student in his own interest can carry the id card issued at the time of articles, if they are valid.

I have finished my articles and as such the id card is not valid.

so is the same id card is valid for may 2010 exams or should i carry any other photo id card.
