Is it worth pursuing Actuarial science course

Hii friends, I am 23 years old, I have given my CA final in this june and in last year of training,and hoping it will be cleared, I want to make my career in Actuarial Science, so i plan to pursue it from Indian institute of acturaies now i want to ask whether it is worth pursuing this course after CA and whether i am too late for doing that and what will be the job prosepects after that like whther i will be directly placed or i have to find job?? Plzzz help
