will publishing info. about audit firm on a website which brings potential customers audit need and audit firm giving such service amount to professional misconduct on part of the audit firm or is this prohibited under the act ?
eg: xyz needs concurrent auditor, p is a firm providing the service.
a website lists the audit firm name from where xyz can choose a concurrent auditor. Will this amount to prof. misconduct for P or prohibited for the website developer
Mere advertisement for want of professionals by an audit firm or mere listing of services provided by a firm will not amount to professional misconduct. There is also a notification in this regard from ICAI as to how an advertisement should be, for more details visit
