IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO ARTICLESHIP FROM lONDON????

Articleship has 2 b done under Practising Chartered Accountants in India.As of now members are not allowed 2 practice outside India.So articleship in any place outside India is not possible.

Regarding going outside India during articleship,ICAI has laid down rules relating to the no. of leaves during articleship.If ur no. of leaves exceeds the limit den u have to serve the extra period for the leaves taken.

well there is confusion regarding this

as a member can practice in foreign branch of indian ca firm

so articles should also do training there !!!

but is it ok with the institute or not

u have to confirm

and as regard forign visit for audit

many big 4 firms send their articles for this

Sir as per the provisions of ICAI-

A Chartered Accountant is eligible to train an articled assistant provided his main occupation is the practice of the profession of Accountancy at the time of engaging articled assistants as well as in
each of the qualifying years on the basis of which he claims eligibility to train articled assistants.

Any member engaged in any other business, occupation or holding part time certificate of practice,
is not entitled to train articled assistant.

The member in practice shall have a professional address in India in his own charge or in charge of another member.

So how can u say that an article assistant can't do his training outside INDIA ....

So we can do articleship from london too  provided u do it from accredited member....

Can we do industrail training outside india?

Hi.. I have been doing my articleship in a small firm in Chennai since two years. But now i wanna continue my aricleship in Singapore. Can i do so?? and whats the procedure?? Plz can anybody help me. ?? Thanks in advance..
