IS IT NECESSARY THAT ONE MUST BE BRILLIANT TO PASS CA EXAMS?

hardworking, dedicated students can definitely ace any exams..  CA is no way an exception..

Ok. Inorder to proceed further with our discussion, let us for the moment assume that one need not be brilliant to pass CA exams.

According to you, if one is HARD WORKING, DEDICATED and can UNDERSTAND BASIC CONCEPTS he/she can pass CA exams.

If the above is true , why so many of them fail? Should we conclude that those who fail are not hard working,dedicated and unable to understand basic concepts. Don't we see students who appear to be dedicated and hard working also fail?

Can we define hard work? How many hours of study a day? How can one know if he/she is dedicated?

If one has to understand basic concepts clearly, his/her brain must be sharp, is it not? 

Being Brilliant adds to the rate of success but not mandatory (though through hardwork, one might still get knowledgable enough for CA).... Hardwork, Proper focus, Proper Guidance would lead to success. Hardwork in hours will differ from person to person. But on an average think like 8-10 hours a day for 10-12 months might put you to success. For CA(Inter).... say 6-8 hours for 8-10 months. These are not prescripttive but just indicative.

Hmmm.. so Brilliance is not at all mandatory..

A doubt has just crossed my mind.., Is self study enough to complete CA or should one compulsorily attend coaching classes to get good marks?? Does anyone know someone who made it without attending any sort of coaching?? I guess brilliance comes into picture now??

I think KANAKA has a valid argument. If one need not be brilliant why do people join coaching classes?

Perhaps every one needs some kind of guidance. KANAKA, even very intelligent students attend colleges for courses where the regular college system is available. Since no such regular college system is available for CA course, perhaps most of the students join coaching classes. SVAX would like to hear more from you.

Yes there are many students like me who can clear CA exams without joining  any classes. THink of a person who resides in Andamman Nicobar OR DIu-DAMan (menat to say backwrad areas) DO u think that they would be lucky enough to get into acoaching class?

i wud say......being consistent in ur studies......i.e studin regularly wid equal zeal and enthusiasm , wid an open mind ,(evrytime huh,).....will make u to easily sail thru any exam!!!!
