Is GST payable on court decretal arrears rent

Does landlord have to pay gst  on court decreed penalty charged to tenant for illegal occupany if the tenant deposits arrears in court and the amount is later paid to landlord by court?  How should the ITC entry be made when filing GST by landlord

I my opinion , you should apply for Advance ruling under section 97 (e) of the CGST act 2017.

per Sch II clause 5(e) of CGST Act  it is supply and attracts gst liability

but subject to threshold of Rs 20 Lakh
