Is GST applicable on hostel rent?
I am leaving in a private hostel in Raipur where I am paying Rs 9900 per month. Is GST applicable on this on me? Is RCM applicable on service provider?

12% GST is applicable for Hostel rent as AAR of Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh has mentioned that recently
It depends since the queries has not specified there is no point in explaining any other provisions.
As per my understanding, AAR rulings are applicable, only to applicants, So 12% GST is applicable only to applicants . take others opinion as well.
