I am a businessman running three firms all firms are Separately registered having indivals vat registration and proprietor of this firms are my family members & the premises of the firms is same. I received the notice of ESIC departments saying that to apply for registration of ESIC number
After receiving there notice i replied to the department that we have three Indi vials firms and the Shop Act, Vat Tin no, Pan No, are different and we employee 25 persons in this three firms so ESIC is not applicable to me but after 15 days i got reply from that saying the all three firms are run by a single family no matter the owners are different but ESIC is applicable to you and you have to register for the same.I spokw with my CA & my lawers but no one has idea about this law please suggest
