Dear All

I am going to appear for my CS Professional Papers in June 2013. I have already started my 15 months training in the month of Sep 2012. My queries are :

1) Is EDP Training necessary to appear in Professional (final) exams in June 2013 as i want to do Edp training after my June 2013 exams to save time now ?

2) Is PDP hours (25 hours) neccesaarily to be completed before above exams orelse i can do it after my June 2013 exams ?

3) Somebody told me that EDP is necessary for joining training of 15 months but i have already joined it ? Is it will have impact later ?

4) I am referring Bangar for Tax paper but it seems too large ? Can somebody suggest me short book like Ajay Jain for CA ( Short and covering all points ) ?

5) Any suggestion for June 2013 exams so that i can clear it in first attempt (all 8 papers)

Thanks and Regards

Dear Rakhi,

1. No EDP is not mandatory for prof exams...ut is necessary for the management training

2.  No even PDP has no such requirement...it is compulsory for membership

3. No...even i have joined pending EDP...just write to the icsi stating that you have started MT before EDP...they will send the letter

if you want any other help...let me know

.

Dear Ankit

Thanks for the kind reply. What i get from your reply is that :

1) I can do EDP Training after my June 2013 CS Professional Exams. My query is that in that case i have already started my Management Training in Sep 2012 then in that case if i send letter to ICSI then will they cancel my training period or what. Please clarify ?

2) Secondly If i give my Professional Exams in June 2013 without completing my EDP upto June 2013, and suppose i do my EDP in Aug 2013, What will be impact on my training period ? My 15 months training period is suppose to end on Dec 2013.

3) Please suggest Advance Tax Laws Book (Short one expect Bangar).

Thanks

I have sent you a Pvt Msg.. Pls Check
