You should study thorough any good text book suitable for the final level like direct taxes by taxman’s. update with the recent case laws and refer master guide for the commentary and case laws on the section whenever needed .----- AT the C.A. Coaching is not compulsion at final level but it gives u the approach of studying.As u know DT is always Confusing for students bcoz they dont know how to cover the secs and practicals, in coaching u can overcome this problm. But as a CA Final student , i suggst u can do urself with a better book.
