Is CA not enough?

i guess that a CA degree is more than enough to be competent in the industry.... its just that, many ca's are doin other courses... that's why the industry is askin for more and more..... but if u r strong in ur subject, tat's more than enough.....

come on, a CA wit a iim degree is only gonna make a good and strong break through.... tat's all.... or say any mba degree..... but if u r thorough in your AS, AAS, provisions (which no mba's know) then tat's it.. u r on top.....

but then its always good to have a knowledge on variuos other subjects like HR, Systems, Marketing, IB etc etc etc... so u can jus buy a book and increase ur knowledge..... moreover, even if u have a mba degree, 2-3 years down the line, only experience and your efficiency counts... no one will bother whether u r from IIM, XLRI, SPJ, PSGIM, FMS etc etc.....

NEVER ASK THIS QUESTION WHETHER CA HAS NO VALUE.  I AM NOT EXAGGARATING MY STATEMENT.  SIT AND THINK FOR YOURSELF, WHEREVER MONEY IS INVOLVED, CA HAS TO BE THERE.  

SOME CO., TAKE CA+MBA, ETC.,  MAY BE THE JOB REQUIREMENT IS SUCH.  

WHY CO., PREFER MBA IS BECAUSE OF THEIR EXPOSURE IN IIMs OR AT BUSINESS SCHOOLS.  EVEN YOU HAVE GOT GOOD EXPOSURE DURING ARTICLESHIP.

IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED IN STUDYING FURTHER, I SUGGEST YOU TO TAKE UP CIA, CIMA OR MAYBE EVEN DO A PHd.

IT'S WORTH IT.

ps:  THERE CANNOT BE ANY HAPPIER MOMENT THAN PASSING YOUR CA.  EVEN I AM WAITING FOR RESULTS, I AM VERY OPTIMISTIC ABOUT THE PROFESSION.

Y are u gttng so emotional, Pranjal has asked a simple question.....

Obviously a person wid a CA degree plus a CS, MBA, CPA .......degree will have a good initial start as compared to a person who just has a CA degre...........but a person will get advantage of doin other cources along with CA in the begining only......

if he/she wants 2 get into the privtae sector den its  just about PERFORMENCE...........

Yes CA  qualification is an ideal qualfication for commerce student. Since It gives proper exposure thru articleship. It gives proper plat-form to freshers to get a job in the industry. Obiviously One should decide his area's of interest and can enter in to the industry.

CA IS TOUGH AND EVERGREEN COURSE, YOU CANT THINK HOW MUCH SCOPE YOU HAVE FOR THAT. THAT IS LIKE ADDITIONAL COURSE  YOU CAN DO IT..BUT IN  FRONT OF CA NOTHING WILL STAND....

CA IS ROCKING COURSE..........

I Do agree , that CA is tough and evergreen course.  CA means Complete Accountant and gives variety of exposure in all the area. In addition to CA  if some body is interested to add his qualification then he may opt for CS or ICWA. If Person has passed CA at very early age the he may also try CAT exam. Since IIM MBA+ CA qualfication can proov best qualification.

WHAT U SAID ITS RIGHT.....

Yaaa I also agree that CA is about Complete Accountant. But sorry to add one thing with that.. Its not about thinking negative or sumthing like that. I m very optimistic towards my CA course. But as we r seeing results of ICAI from many years. That we say sumtimes as "Luck". By seeing that I felt not to depend on my CA course only. I want to do any other course along with that. I dont want to regret later that I have achieved nthing in my life n just wasted days , mnths n years. Its not my negative side for CA. Its just a practical thinking. That I mst prepare myself with any strong backbone. For CA I cant predict anything for my results. It can clear in one attempt or can take many attempts. So these days after my exams, I m searching for such courses wiz can help me out.
